I write about whatever comes to mind, which ends up being a bit of an eclectic mix of random musings, describing things via overly specific mathematical models, short stories or worldbuilding ideas (also, occasionally, song translations). Some good mostly-recent examples:
City Review: Seitsteman, where I try to reverse-engineer history and geography to create my dream hometown, and what it would be like1. Probably the most characteristically me post, which means jumping headfirst into my weird side, for both good and bad.
In a meritocracy, the smarter you are, the dumber you feel, a mathematical model explaining why so many smart people end up feeling not smart enough.
I tend to write reviews of places I visit. See e.g. Prague, Singapore, and Dallas.
Stories and worldbuilding posts, like Meatrails and the thing with the time traveling cats. A surprisingly large number of these (including Meatrails and Be Very Wary of Infohazards) were just me writing down a dream I had.
It ended up being like 50% Singapore, which was an interesting experience in trying to reverse engineer an environment that would create a Singapore-like city without a Lee Kuan Yew-like figure, and 80% other stuff, which adds up to more than 100% because I kept coming up with more things I wanted to add to it.
